WrestleMania 39 is just a few hours away and fans worldwide are ready to witness the most-awaited encounter between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
Before stepping inside the arena for his biggest match, Rhodes recalled the incident that happened ten years ago at WrestleMania 29. It was the moment when he met Doland Trump and it made the ‘Mania memorable for him even after his match got canceled.

Recently, WWE superstar Cody Rhodes gave an interview with Ariel Helwani. During the interview, a segment came when Rhodes recalled his encounter with former US President Donald Trump. He said that it all happened after Vince McMahon canceled his match at WrestleMania 29 due to time constraints.
Rhodes mentioned that he was sitting under the stage when someone kicked his foot and when he looked up, it was Donald Trump.
Recalling that moment, Cody Rhodes said, “I go and sit under the stage because I just didn’t want to like freak out. you don’t want to lash out at anybody. People are doing their jobs, like working hard and Mania is moving on with or without me. So I went and sat it under the stage and I felt like…..I’m looking down. I felt this foot kick my foot, and I woke up and it was Donald Trump.”
Even though the encounter was short but Donald Trump unintentionally taught Rhodes a valuable lesson.

Rhodes further said that Trump asked him to move his legs so that he and the other fifty men with him could pass. He even mentioned that it was the moment when he realize that life goes on.

“Because he was walking back and he had his whole Posse had been with him. I think that’s the year he went in the Hall of Fame. So he’s walking back and he’s like ‘excuse me, young man’. So I had to like shimmy my legs to the side for these 50 people that he had with him to go by but yeah that was my…uh…I had to get out of the way for Donald. It was kind of a sobering moment like hey you know life is moving on”
