Does Cody Rhodes' real-life heat with this WWE star make their matches more exciting to watch?

Cody Rhodes has achieved everything he has dreamt of in his spellbound second WWE stint. The American Nightmare took a U-turn from his lackluster AEW run back in 2022 to come back to his old wrestling home to chase off his childhood dream. Defeating Roman Reigns in the main event of Wrestlemania 40, Cody won the Universal championship and introduced himself to the psyched-up fans, patiently awaiting the surreal moment to descend. Addressing the displeasure, the American Nightmare noted, “It’s not a thing that can happen. Because you’re a big-time fan favorite… If people want to see what Rock Bottom looks like, look at me watching you do John Cena’s comeback in the Royal Rumble. All I wanted to do was get in and break it up so bad from the first little tackle. I wanted to trip you. I wanted to just… And I had to sit there and watch it. It happened to me… I was where I always am in a situation with you, I was outsmarted.”
