Cody Rhodes Pens Down Heartwarming Message for a Fan Who Showed “Some Love” to the Former’s Failed Gimmick on His Birthday

The WWE Universe consists of some of the most loyal fans in the world. A young fan recently caught the attention of the community when he celebrated a special day themed on Cody Rhodes and showed immense love and support for his favorite WWE Superstar.

Cody Rhodes is a veteran WWE Wrestler and receives immense support from the crowd. He has now become a household name. This young fan just went out and proved it by celebrating a Cody Rhodes-themed birthday. Moved by this gesture, Rhodes reached out to the kid with a heartfelt message.

Cody Rhodes notices his young fan’s tribute

A young fan of ‘The American Nightmare’ celebrated his birthday by decorating the party with the merchandise of his favorite wrestler. The young fan’s father posted a picture of the birthday boy and his Cody Rhodes Collection and tagged Rhodes in his post. 

The Twitter post shows the young fan posing with several action figures of Cody Rhodes on a table while wearing a Cody Rhodes t-shirt. Several other items, like a card, poster, and flag, can also be seen alongside the bright smile of the birthday boy. Cody Rhodes responded to the cute post and wished a happy birthday to his die-hard fan.

Rhodes also noticed that the young boy had a figurine of “Starkid.” Cody Rhodes has played several characters as part of the various storylines he has been a part of. Starkid, however, was not very well received by the WWE Universe and was considered a failed gimmick. 

Rhodes noticed that despite the widespread rejection of the Starkid character, his loyal fan had also purchased a Starkid figurine. Responding to the tweet and the loving gesture, The American Nightmare tweeted, “That’s a great squad! Even Starkid got some love – HAPPY BIRTHDAY.”

As his young fan would know, this is a pivotal time in Rhodes’ career in WWE. He recently beat ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar and now has his eyes set on Seth Rollins and his title.

Rhodes aims for the world heavyweight title

Cody Rhodes has proven his mettle to the entire WWE Universe at the latest iteration of the WWE SummerSlam. Rhodes put up an explosive fight against Lesnar and finally managed to slay ‘The Beast Incarnate’ and get his revenge on him. 

‘The American Nightmare’ and Brock Lesnar had quite a heated rivalry and needed to settle the score with each other. Both wrestlers displayed both brute force and technique. However, Rhodes emerged as the winner of the match. Cody Rhodes now aims to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Rhodes recently released his life documentary, ‘The American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes’. Rhodes had made it clear that his ultimate aim is to wear the WWE Championship belt around his waist before he bids goodbye to his long pro-wrestling career. Cody Rhodes fans are high on energy after Rhodes’ latest triumph over ‘The Beast’.
