While Knight, Ripley, and Rhodes bagged their respective titles, other stars from various promotions were not behind. MJF received the title of the Promo Artist of the Year for his wacky promos. AEW’s FTR won the tag team of the year, as opposed to WWE’s dominating tag team of Finn Balor and Damian Priest. Debut of the Year award went to the Second City Saint, CM Punk.
The former AEW star returned to WWE after almost a decade. His return received a positive reception from the WWE faithful. While the Storyline of the Year went to Bloodline 2.0, WrestleMania 39 bagged the PPV of the Year. Fans might agree that the 2023 mega event had every right to receive the honor, as fans witnessed someone who could take on WWE’s current Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.
