Previously, fans had spotted ‘Stardust’ in TV shows with a limited fanbase. One such example is the TV show ‘Arrow’ based on a DC comic character. Cody Rhodes appeared first in the 5th season as ‘Derek Sampson’, a minor antagonist. Now, he will be seen in a big Hollywood reboot starring Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson.
The report regarding the reboot of an old ‘Police Squad!’ adaptation was exclusively broken out by Daily Mail. In the original title, the late Leslie Nielson played the protagonist Lt. Frank Drebrin, who will now be replaced by Liam Neeson. However, the writers have a different plan for Cody Rhodes.
The source reported, “To make things a little easier for himself, he might actually end up playing himself in the film.” So far, the plot of the movie hasn’t been revealed, but there is speculation from the source that the WWE top star could end up playing the hypnotized person, as a nod to the original film. This will make his role extremely crucial as he would help unveil the antagonist of the movie.
