Rumors continue to persist about Roman Reigns making his long-awaited turn as babyface upon his return. Hope and hype remain sky high on a successful babyface run for Reigns after his first babyface run amounted to failure. Although a lot is going on in WWE with the Bloodline right now, it appears that a WWE veteran has outlined the chain of events that could occur soon.

On the most recent edition of the podcast Busted Radio, discussion ensued about the Bloodline storyline and how things may change in the future if Roman Reigns makes his comeback. The notion was that if Reigns arrived, the entire Bloodline could take him on and defeat him since they would have a numbers advantage, but Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, might aid his former adversary in this case.

Rhodes is also heavily involved in the Bloodline narrative, and if he can aid Reigns, it would make an interesting dynamic. This might lead to Randy Orton disliking Cody Rhodes’ behavior, which could lead to a massive heated feud between the two of them, which is also expected to occur soon. WWE has dropped multiple hints about The Viper turning his fangs to The American Nightmare.

In the podcast, wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer stated, “Then I could move on to Randy and Cody or I mean, also think about Roman needing the help of a Cody Rhodes. And you know Randy could be like, hey, don’t trust this guy. That could be a thing………. Roman gets his a** beat, even though Roman is the guy. Roman is getting his a** beat by four guys. Cody makes the save. That helps elevate Cody because he helped Roman.”

But how exactly could the partnership prove fruitful?

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes on the same side could be the biggest babyface team in WWE

Upon his return, The Tribal Chief is expected to form his own squad to face Bloodline and reclaim his position as Head of The Table. Furthermore, this squad may be the old Bloodline containing The Usos or superstars who are now trying to put an end to Bloodline’s ruthlessness. Anything in between the two of them is possible right now. This may be a fantastic plan since this squad can have enormous baby faces, which will result in a lot of love from the audience. Although this is possible, it appears that there is still plenty of time, and SummerSlam might be the starting point for all of this exciting plot.

Nevertheless, even if The Tribal Chief manages to win the favor of The Usos, they are still a man short of evening the odds. With Rhodes emerging as a worthy adversary to Sikoa &Co, he could join forces with Reigns to take down the group that has haunted them both. Perhaps Paul Heyman could act as a mediator to repair the frosty relationship between The American Nightmare and The Tribal Chief. Nevertheless, the forging of such an alliance could usurp any partnerships in the history of the WWE considering the star value of both superstars and the  long-term stakes of the story at play.
