Cody Rhodes is now hours away from stepping into the ring against ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. The excitement around the main event clash is at an all-time high. However, Rhodes has been dealt a blow on the personal front heading into the spectacle.

His wife Brandi Rhodes has been a vital part of his career whether on the screen or off it. She has come up with a disappointing update for the fans regarding her well-being.

Rhodes took to Twitter to share about her visit to the eye doctor with Mania just on the horizon. She posted via her account, “There’s insult to injury but also injury to insult. At the eye dr as an emergency visit as Libby took a chunk out of my eye accidentally. Planning to still make all planned events just probably will be in pain and half blind.”

As said by her, the timing of the injury could not have been worse. And it was the couple’s daughter Libby that accidentally caused the issue. With her husband gearing up for arguably the fight of his life ideally, he would want his wife to stand as a pillar beside him like she always has.
