The night opened with Finn Balor and Damian Priest making their way to the ring. Happy and excited about wearing all the gold once more, Rhodes interrupted the duo. Priest and Rhodes agreed to a match at Crown Jewel 2023. However, a RAW episode cannot start dull, so Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio came to the ring. After all hell broke loose with Jey and Cody Rhodes facing off the entire Judgment Day, JD McDonagh helped JD stand out once again.

Alpha Academy vs. New Day

Winner: The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were able to beat Chad Gable and Otis. It was a fun match to lighten the hell that broke loose in the opening segment. Filled with great action and gags, it was the perfect start to an action-packed Monday Night RAW.

Backstage: We also got a backstage segment with Ripley and Seth Rollins. Ripley has been mending bridges to ensure Judgment Day stays on top of everything on RAW. Despite her efforts, Rollins made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with the group. However, Ripley did point out Rollins’ back issues.

Becky Lynch vs. Indi Hartwell for the NXT Women’s Championship

Winner: Becky Lynch retained her title against Indi Hartwell. This match was planned last week when Hartwell confronted Lynch, claiming that she never lost her title but never got a chance to win it back. This led Lynch to give her an opportunity to compete for it. After a fast-paced match, Lynch locked in the Dis-Arm-Her to retain her title.

Backstage: Adam Pearce prepared himself for the contract signing between the ladies of the fatal five-way match at Crown Jewel 2023. Nick Aldis showed up to apologize for what took place during the SmackDown episode.

The contract signing for the fatal five-way at Crown Jewel 2023 was quick. Pearce had each woman sign the contract in rapid-fire succession. Things were great until Ripley came out, and all hell broke loose with the women all attacking each other despite the security present.

Giovanni Vinci vs. Johnny Gargano

Winner: Johnny Gargano won the match after hitting One Final Beat on Vinci. Despite having Ludwig Kaiser by his side, with a bit of help from Tommaso Ciampa, Gargano was the winner.

Backstage: Shinsuke Nakamura had a message to address the fans with. He talked about breaking Seth Rollins’ back and doing the same to Ricochet. Now, he wants someone new to do the same, too.

Logan Paul and Dominik Mysterio

Logan Paul came out to the ring after accepting Rey Mysterio’s challenge last week on SmackDown. The match will be for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2023. Mysterio’s son comes out to a round of boos. The two seem to form an alliance before Paul calls out ring announcer Samantha Irvin. Ricochet comes out to save his fiance.

Chelsea Green and Piper Niven vs. Natalya and Nikki Cross

Winner: Chelsea Green and Piper Niven picked up the win after Nikki Cross came out with a new gimmick. Cross was not her usual self and acted more stoic and lost. Despite her best efforts, Natalya could not hold off the duo. Killswitch connects, and Piper finishes Natalya for the win.

Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn

Winner: Drew McIntyre picks up the win after Rhea Ripley comes out to the ring. After a grueling match between the two, Zayn seemed to be the one to pick up the win. However, after Ripley’s music hit, Zayn got distracted, leading McIntyre to pick up the win.

Akira Tozawa vs. Bronson Reed

Winner: Bronson Reed picked up a landslide win against Akira Tozawa. Tozawa put his best foot forward despite the size difference. The match was one-sided, with Tozawa landing some good hits. Despite all the effort, Reed still destroyed Tozawa with the 747 Splash.
