Cody Rhodes has been in the heating pan of rumors for the past few weeks. Ever since he left AEW in February, the world of WWE has been curious to see what’s next for Cody. Obviously, there are speculations about the former WWE wrestler’s big return to the company.

However, while being all over the WWE news feed, Rhodes has made some remarks about Tom Brady’s decision to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The NFL legend recently announced that he is going to return for his 23rd season, just six weeks after announcing his retirement.

Cody Rhodes supports Brady’s decision

NFL Superstar Tom Brady recently took a U-turn from retirement and gave his fans the great news of his return to competitive football. He tweeted, “These past two months I’ve realised my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa.

As news broke, it sent social media into a frenzy. Tributes poured in from all parts of the world, with many extending their support to the legendary quarterback across all social media platforms. Likewise, Cody Rhodes posted Brady’s tweet as an Instagram story to praise him for never giving up.

Cody wrote, “Even if Sting has to carry him in a wagon… He’s still breathing! Go get it @tombrady.”

 

Cody is coming back to WWE?

Ever since Cody Rhodes ended things with All Elite Wrestling, rumors over his departure continue to rise. Some theories also suggest that he left AEW for WWE. Come to think about it, with WrestleMania 38 coming soon, it will indeed be a great venue for Cody to return to the major business. According to recent reports, Cody Rhodes has multiple options on the table.

Moreover, the WWE RAW star Seth Rollins is currently hoping for a match at WrestleMania 38 and Cody Rhodes’ name is at the top of the rumors for the same. There was also a possibility of WWE bringing back Shane McMahon to fight against Rollins.

Recently, while speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Dave Meltzer said that initially a Shane McMahon v/s Seth Rollins match was planned. But he added that Seth Rollins vs the former AEW EVP, is still on the WrestleMania 38 list.
