However, Bully Ray believes that Seth Rollins may ditch Cody Rhodes in the end, thus costing Cody Rhodes a title opportunity. He said, “What I was doing, was saying that if they decided Seth Rollins screw over which was your possibility suggestion, I wouldn’t have a problem with it. Because it makes sense.”
Bully Ray’s words may be shocking to wrestling fans, including Cody crybabies as Seth Rollins is one of the top baby faces in the company. He is also one of the biggest advocates of Cody Rhodes who stood by The American Nightmare at the WrestleMania kick-off press conference when Rhodes was slapped. But Bully Ray speaks with experience and rationale.
Cody Rhodes losing at WrestleMania is best for business
Bully Ray gave his reasons why WWE may not pull the trigger on Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. He explained, “Once the story is over, the story is over. Okay? Now, relying on Cody to carry the company, you know for however long. I do believe that if Cody gets over at 40, great. Awesome. But you gotta look at what you have. Can we get more out of this? Do we have enough players to stretch this?”

Well, he is right as Cody Rhodes whole gimmick revolves around his American Dream Storyline. Though it has engulfed the fans across the world, WWE needs a champion who can carry the company, like Roman Reigns did.
Hence, it makes sense for Seth Rollins to ditch Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL while setting The Visionary as another villain in Cody Rhodes’ story. It will also help push Cody Rhodes further as fans would be more eager to see him reach the gold.
