Reports from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com indicate that the company plans on re-signing Rhodes to a long-term contract. This not only means better job security but also higher payday for Rhodes. This news comes as no surprise after the incredible work Rhodes has been doing as a star in the WWE and a draw for the company.

What makes this news even more interesting is the fact that this has been in the works since the UFC and WWE merger. The $21.4 billion merger could prove to be the best thing that happened to Rhodes in the coming future.

Currently, Rhodes is on a mission to complete his story with Roman Reigns after his defeat at Wrestlemania 39. This has been a long-time storyline that also saw great feuds, including Brock Lesnar and The Judgment Day. The feud with Lesnar ended in a victory at Fastlane 2023, and with the Judgment Day, it culminated at WarGames.
