His nuanced takes have made their way into the pro wrestling realm. Ahead of Reigns’ big Mania match, Jackson took to social media to say, “And this is the man they want me go against.” Jackson is a huge Reigns fan and always acknowledges his Tribal Chief.

However, his next line caught people by surprise. He said, “I know he can’t have the belt forever. We all see Cody and Gunther are next in line.” While Rhodes is pegged to win at this Mania, it is interesting to see Jackson believes Gunther will be the next title holder.

While this would never work as Johnson is a part-timer, fans believe this would be the best path for Reigns’ babyface turn. With The Rock holding the title belt, he gets control over The Bloodline. WWE has foreshadowed some cracks in the union between the Hollywood star and his Tribal Chief in their recent interactions. Moreover, The Rock had craved the opportunity to face Roman Reigns at this year’s edition of WrestleMania. He could be hoping to make that dream come to reality by turning on the Universal champion soon enough.

Only time will tell how the WWE plans to go about the anticipated Reigns vs The Rock storyline.
