First, there was an increase in ticket sales followed by the chanting of “CM Punk” at Madison Square Garden; now, we have a Legend of the Adult Entertainment industry. The hype surrounding Punk’s first match after a decade is at its peak at MSG. When experts and critics said the Chicago-based star was a massive draw, they were not kidding.

Thanks to Punk, a crowd of 15,300 drew to see him wrestle for the first time at MSG. This was a massive achievement for the company and himself.

Lisa Ann is not a stranger to the adult entertainment industry but, in fact, is considered the G.O.A.T of the business. After retiring in 2014, she took up fantasy football and got into sports. However, she has never been seen around a WWE event until now.

Despite being part of sports, she never touched the WWE. In an interview, she did mention understanding what WWE Divas went though on reading the arena they were performing in. This was the extent of her involvement with the wrestling business.

Taking to social media, the 51-year-old adult star posted a picture of her at MSG with the caption, “🖤 @wwe @thegarden lets goooooooooo.” This clears any doubt regarding what a draw Punk is. The WWE Universe has been waiting to see who Punk would face as his first opponent.

While many were thinking it could be Seth Rollins, that feud has been pushed back to Mania season. While this was a Live Tour match, fans still got their first glimpse of Punk back in the ring. Many WWE fans wanted his first match to be televised; however, the WWE had other plans.

After winning his first match against Dominik, Punk took the mic to address the crowd. He went ahead to talk about this match at MSG being one of the biggest turning points in his life. This was something he claimed he did not think was going to be possible.

He went on to say that he was not going to end his story at Wrestlemania, but it was going to be his beginning. This could be taken as a warning to the locker room. Punk could be warning the wrestlers who think he’s just here for Maina and then will be out.
