CM Punk barely fails to stun fans with new gestures on and off the screen. The Second City Saint currently aims to launch a solid revenge on Drew Mclntyre at Bash in Berlin, on August 31st, but this is not all he’s currently invested in. It seems Punk is also busy forming some strong connections backstage in between his rigorous training. The connections in question are none other than the abandoned Judgment Day pair, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, popularly known as the Terror Twins.
A photo of Punk, Ripley, Priest, and WWE in-ring announcer Cathy Kelley took the cake off the internet today, stirring a belief of something fascinating brewing up.

Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest faced a brutal betrayal from their family members on SummerSlam 2024. Mami was on the cusp of claiming her Women’s World Championship title back from Liv Morgan in Cleveland, but a sudden backstab from her boy Dominik Mysterio overturned the whole game, leading Morgan to walk away with her title seamlessly. The same stroke of deception lurked behind to hit Priest, who got his dose from Finn Balor, dropping his World Title to Gunther as a result. Subsequently, Morgan sneaked into the new Judgment Day, eradicating the two main pillars of the family. Priest and Ripley, being deprived of their all, formed a new tag team called Terror Twins and decided to take on their foes in a mixed tag team match on the next big PLE.
On the other hand, CM Punk seems leisure-focused to not let what happened at SummerSlam repeat in Germany in his single match against the Scotsman. But taking a temporary halt to their individual goals, the Best in the World joined forces with the Terror Twins and WWE personality Cathy Kelley to get clicked together backstage. Punk posted the photo on his IG story with the caption, ‘Quad Terror Squad’.
Does that mean we will see a new faction forming sooner or later? Well, that’s a topic of contention. Nevertheless, we can at least look at some interferences on how these matters could be intertwined
Will Punk chime in Judgment Day’s business at Bash in Berlin?

CM Punk joining the Terror Twins—Is this the shakeup WWE desperately needs?
Have an interesting take?
CM Punk is quite settled in his solo run at this point in time. He is in the middle of finishing his storyline with the arch nemesis, Drew Mclntyre. While the storyline has been a little stretched lately, it never lost traction. So introducing Punk to a tag team scenario might not be on WWE’s card. On the other hand, Ripley and Priest should ideally engage nobody (outsiders) to resolve the family feud, which is innately personal to them.

However, a one-to-one help seems feasible, nevertheless. On the Bash in Berlin night, we might see Punk rushing to help the Terror Twins secure a win against their family and vice versa (Punk receiving some help from them for silencing Mclntyre in the scheduled strap match).
