Did Drew McIntyre just cost CM Punk a fortune? Is this the end of Punk's WWE dreams?

CM Punk has been nasty in his feud with Drew McIntyre since his loss at SummerSlam, as seen by his recent use of a leather belt in the ring against McIntyre. Following that, the bout between the two of them at the upcoming WWE PLE Bash in Berlin was confirmed. The match will be a grueling Strap match. The Scottish star appeared in the ring again this week as Punk attempted to replicate his actions from the past.

CM Punk was having none of McIntyre’s words. He appeared from under the ring and dished out some punishment. However, it was not just restricted to his adversary as he beat security with the strap, too. Nevertheless, this did not go down well with the authorities. Raw GM Adam Pearce went to X to offer his take on the subject and issue a decisive punishment to the former AEW star.

Pearce informed everyone that Punk is being fined an unknown sum for his actions on this week’s Raw. His tweet stated,CM Punk has been fined an undisclosed amount for assaulting security with the leather strap that will be used in his Strap Match against Drew McIntyre at #WWEBash.” This tweet also revealed that this exact strap would be used in the PLE match between the two former WWE champions. The match will be one to look out for, although we think Punk has an advantage in the upcoming match.

At Bash In Berlin, Punk should be focused on destroying Drew McIntyre rather than winning the bout. This suggests that the contest will be of a vicious nature. Nevertheless, viewers will be treated to an exciting bout. Of course, Punk is expected to win, but WWE has the potential to surprise us by having the Scottish Psychopath win the bout again.
