CM Punk has been in his fun element ever since his return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023. Without taking things seriously, he accidentally destroyed Drew McIntyre‘s career potentially, during a match that he could have won at Clash at the Castle. Not only was Punk messing around with The Scottish Psychopath at the time, but he was also seen behind the champion.
Although Punk hasn’t yet started any feuds with Judgment Day, his character allows him to goof around the arena without thinking much of the consequences. During the last PLE, he was not merciful to the WHC either.

Drew McIntyre almost won when he pinned Damian Priest in the squared circle at Clash at the Castle, but, since the official had passed out, the count couldn’t be completed. Soon, a new official came sliding in, counted to two but then stopped. That official turned out to be CM Punk. McIntyre’s rage took over, forcing him to attack ‘The Best in the World,’ who then got the upper hand in the altercation, leading to the Scottish wrestler’s loss.
When Priest was walking up the ramp after retaining the title, Punk could be seen in a fan-shot video stalking and following him towards backstage, still in full character, enjoying the assigned gimmick.

The caption of the post termed the wrestler “unserious” because of how he was acting, despite being off-camera. This is something that the WWE world adores about him. Could it also be a sign that he will come after Priest after getting better since he had his eyes on the WHC anyway?
When can CM Punk wrestle next?
The Cult of Personality opened up Friday Night SmackDown on 06/21 with a promo to entice the attendees in Chicago, Illinois. He was soon warned by an old friend that The Bloodline wishes to beat him up for having all the attention to himself in his hometown. Although that did not happen, Punk was soon met with an unfortunate fate when Drew McIntyre showed up and delivered a brutal beatdown backstage before bringing him to the arena.

Medics were immediately called and CM Punk was put in an ambulance on a stretcher, showing that he may not be back until further notice. This might have upset some fans as he was expected to get cleared to start wrestling soon. However, things seem to be fine now as the wrestler was spotted driving away in his car soon after the show was over.
