CM Punk's message to an AEW star—genuine support or a strategic move against Tony Khan?

CM Punk returned to the professional wrestling scene with AEW. The promotion was able to persuade Punk that it was high time for him to return since the crowds would be massive and fans would pay a lot of money to see him. The plan succeeded, and the whole wrestling world screamed when Punk returned to the wrestling industry, but his run with AEW did not survive.

There were several bad incidents in the company when CM Punk was there, including backstage fights and claims. This run came to an abrupt end when Tony Khan’s AEW decided to release Punk from his contract due to the disruption he was generating inside the firm. Although Punk dislikes the promotion, it appears that he has some of the strongest and most beautiful bonds with the wrestlers who worked for it.

Recently, The Best in the World’s Instagram stories has gone viral since it is about an AEW superstar. Diamanté, who was close to Punk throughout his time at AEW, was the wrestler in question. Punk wished Diamanté a happy birthday, indicating that their friendship has remained strong. This was a clear hint that Punk did not have any poor relations with her. Perhaps this excellent relationship with her would lead to their going to WWE with his support, who knows! Both wrestlers have great moments with each other.

The AEW star also wished Punk on his birthday last year, and wrote, “Happy birthday [CM Punk]! The only reason this picture exists is cause you walked up to me when I was trying to get outta your way and you included me in your photoshoot. Meant a lot then still means a lot now. Appreciate you big homie! Also sending well wishes to Larry.”

One of these situations may be seen in a snapshot Punk shared on his Instagram story. The image was taken during Diamante’s photo session, and Punk began to bother her during that time. Furthermore, after this photograph was shot, they began to taunt one other. Punk is reported to be returning to the ring, but when?

CM Punk is likely to return to the ring sooner rather than later

The former WWE Champion returned to the WWE at the Survivor Series Pay Per View event last year, and he has since competed in one match. This was the Royal Rumble, and he was wounded and tore his tricep, which prevented him from competing on the greatest platform of them all, WrestleMania 40.

Furthermore, the current talk about his in-ring return has been circulating as most probably his injury is fully healed and soon he will be medically cleared to compete. Punk is expected to have a big match with Drew McIntyre at the upcoming WWE event Summerslam, which will be exciting to see because they’ve been feuding for over a year.
