CM Punk is so not done with his Scottish adversary. Despite being dismantled on the SummerSlam, the Second City Saint didn’t let his mojo down. Rather, he continued to be a pain in the neck to McIntyre and sealed a strap match for the upcoming PLE in Berlin. Their feud has taken on a whole new shape after the Scotsman decided to get personal and attained his rival’s bracelet which contained the name of Punk’s wife and his dog.

However, before the entire WWE Universe gets hooked up to another boiling bout, Punk charged them up in a surprising fashion as part of a fun build-up.

The CM Punk-Drew McIntyre storyline has always been the most intense brainchild of the creative since Punk’s return in 2023. From stealing the former AEW star’s bracelet to dragging up his family, the Scottish Psychopath lived up to his name by showcasing the lengths he goes to settle scores.

The Chicago-based star has retorted in trademark CM Punk manner as he dished out his savage remarks in his promos making this an extremely personal feud. As the saga continues to unfold on Raw tonight, Punk emerges from under the ring to give McIntyre a rough rub, interrupting his scathing promo.

The Scottish star ate several lashings before the security intervened, allowing him the space for him to escape. That said, the most bizarre thing Punk did was to come to an Instagram live under the ring moments before unleashing the attack’ on his rival. It was a hilarious instance of build-up that the company is getting its hands on.

We need to see how these two will continue raising the bar of their animosity before the big clash. However, Punk had to pay for his actions on the red brand show as Raw GM Adam Pearce made a bombshell announcement.

The Second City Saint reached a whole new level of ferocity on TV. Tonight, after abruptly ending a peculiar IG live, the star rushed to the ring to attack Mclntyre with a leather strap. After the Scotsman was caught off guard, security personnel intervened and stopped Punk from causing further damage to his arch-nemesis. But a few of them ended up taking bumps on themselves. Punk vented out his anger on the security guards after McIntyre retreated.

However, while on the surface, it might seem just another instance of havoc spreading throughout ringside, the company didn’t have such a favorable view. They took the matter with deep concern and charged the assaulter with a hefty fine.

Pearce took to his Twitter, “CM Punk has been fined an undisclosed amount for assaulting security with the leather strap that will be used in his Strap Match against Drew McIntyre at #WWEBash,”
