WWE wrestler Drew McIntyre has been on a dominant run for months, with his feud with CM Punk intensifying through heated verbal exchanges and physical confrontations. The Scottish Warrior finally defeated Punk at SummerSlam. However, the Cult of Personality fought back by making McIntyre run away from him on RAW this week.
This did not stop McIntyre, though, since he responded by stating that if messing with Punk was an Olympic sport, he would be the Simone Biles of it. This comes after the Scottish Warrior provoked Punk on the aforementioned edition of RAW by mentioning Punk’s spouse, AJ Lee, and a very special memento he still owned after stealing it away from Punk. The Punk bracelet, which has the names of Punk’s spouse, AJ Lee, and their dog, Larry. For the former AEW star, this bracelet could be worth more than any gold medal.
So it looks like, despite not having any real medals, McIntyre boasts a victory over Punk at SummerSlam and might’ve also won the psychological warfare between the two. So, is the feud over? Well, not yet. Since Punk did request a rematch, which the WWE might end up giving him. Maybe this rematch will finally mark the end of the feud.

At least that’s what renowned pro wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer thinks. According to the veteran insider, the feud isn’t over until Punk wins a match against McIntyre. On his F4WOnline podcast, Meltzer said, “He wanted to beat his a*s is what he wanted to do. Well, we’ll get that. We’ll get that. He’s owed one now. I mean, he’s going to—you know, this feud ain’t ending with Punk not winning the match. So he’s owed one.”
Well, it surely looks like it isn’t over yet. CM Punk won’t be calling it quits until he has a win over the Scottish Warrior. Until he gets his bracelet back. But knowing how the AJ Lee bracelet is playing a major part in the storyline, can we get to see the return of the revolutionary superstar?

CM Punk shares his verdict on AJ Lee’s return
After CM Punk made his return to WWE programming last November, many fans began to talk about the possibility that AJ Lee, Punk’s partner, would also follow in his footsteps and make her return. However, this has not yet happened, and it does not seem that Lee has a genuine interest in doing so.
During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, CM Punk was once again asked about the possibility of his partner, AJ Lee, returning to WWE. Punk assured that it is a question that he is constantly asked. And unfortunately, he cannot force his partner to do something that does not interest her at the moment. He also stated that he would love for it to happen. However, the decision to return is solely up to AJ Lee and her own desires and circumstances.

He said, “You cannot possibly push my wife in any direction she does not want to go. I get this question every single time I’m interviewed — I do not mind because it makes sense to me because I am as big a fan of AJ Lee as your niece or all of her legions of fans. She inspired an entire generation of female wrestlers and I think you’re seeing a lot of them come through NXT; now there’s even some that are on the indies… As a fan, 100%, I would do cartwheels if she came back, but I cannot make her do anything, like that’s not the relationship we have.”
Although it doesn’t appear that AJ Lee has any plans to return to WWE at the moment, the possibility cannot be ruled out entirely. In the future, her mindset about it might change, and we might eventually see her back in the ring. What do you think? Will we get to see Lee be a part of the feud? Let us know in the comments.
