2024 has been a treat for WWE fans so far. With massive returns and multiple storylines forcing fans to be on the edge of their seats, the WWE universe couldn’t have asked for anything better. Both the blue and red brands have been shows that any pro wrestling fan cannot afford to miss.

The next edition of Monday Night RAW promises more of the same. Here are all the matches and the outcomes we can expect in this week’s extravaganza in New Orleans.

In the previous edition of RAW, Seth Rollins squared off against Jinder Mahal to defend his World Heavyweight Championship. What was supposed to be a routine title defense turned out to be a major scare for the ‘Architect’ as he suffered a torn MCL and a partial tear in his meniscus. Such injuries often make pro wrestlers miss TV time for almost a month, or, in the worst-case scenario, it might even knock Rollins out of WrestleMania.

The WWE too has come forward with a statement acknowledging the issue, as they tweeted that Rollins will kick off the upcoming edition of RAW and “address his future as World Heavyweight Champion.” This could mean that he might even relinquish the title.

CM Punk and Cody Rhodes to trade barbs before the Royal Rumble

After Cody Rhodes mentioned CM Punk in his promo for the last episode of RAW, Punk, who wasn’t in the arena, felt the need to make his presence known. As Rhodes mentioned in his promo with Drew McIntyre that the Scottish Warrior, Jey Uso, and Punk can win the Royal Rumble, but he won’t let that happen.

Replying to this, Punk called out the ‘American Nightmare’ on Instagram as he shared a picture of his with the caption, “I think it’s time you asked me what I want to talk about, @americannightmarecody” written on the top of it.

Addressing the same, before they meet in the next edition of RAW, Rhodes too sent a message for ‘the Cult of Personality’ through social media, as he tweeted, “I know what we should talk about.”

With such intensity, fans can witness the two coming down to blows after they confront each other. Thus culminating in a full-fledged feud for the Royal Rumble.

Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre meets an inconclusive end

Damian Priest has struggled to cash in on his Money in the Bank contract in order to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Since turning heel at the end of 2023, Drew McIntyre has created plenty of adversaries in his quest to become the World Heavyweight Champion, including Jey Uso and the recently returned CM Punk.

‘The Scottish Warrior’ recently faced up against Señor Money in the Bank, Damian Priest, as Priest’s possession of the suitcase caused McIntyre to lose his match against Seth Rollins as per McIntyre. During McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Title bout against Seth Rollins on Monday Night Raw, Priest attempted to cash in his contract, which the ‘Scottish Warrior’ interrupted with a claymore. But according to him, this took him off his game.

The Scotsman eventually returned the favor, stopping Priest from cashing in on last week’s Raw main event between Rollins and Jinder Mahal. This feud has led to a grudge match between the two on the upcoming edition of RAW.

According to predictions, the match will be ruled a no-contest. It can either be a disqualification with McIntyre going berserk and not caring about the rules of the match just to teach Priest a lesson, or it could be a disqualification by the interference of the Judgement Day.

Chad Gable vs. Ivar

The feud between the Viking Raiders and Alpha Academy has been going on for quite a while now. In the previous edition of RAW, Akira Tozawa defeated Ivar in a singles match. However, Ivar decided to viciously attack him while Valhalla beat down Maxxine Dupri. This prompted Chad Gable to vow revenge on Ivar in a backstage segment, and now he is gearing up to teach Ivar, who is the Alpha in the red brand, a harsh lesson during the coming edition of RAW.

Coming to the prediction, Gable would be able to exact his revenge on Ivar by defeating him in what would be a hard-fought battle.

Ivy Nile vs. Valhalla

Yet another match between the members of the two factions, the Viking Raiders and the Alpha Academy. Ivy Nile announced her interest in fighting against Valhalla for attacking Dupri.
