That said, The Seventh City’ Saint, too, doesn’t shy away from adding to the hype. Within 24 hours of playfully putting the official Survivor Series song in his Instagram story, Punk made another huge reference.

Fans debating about whether Punk really returns, especially after some reports suggested WWE’s denial, can now rest assured that there’s still a ray of hope. The released AEW wrestler loves to occupy the headlines to remain relevant, even if it means embracing controversy.

Currently, he has been playing the WWE return card strongly. He just used the infamous WWE Hell in a Cell 2012 promo trailer to heighten the ongoing drama in his latest IG story.
The WWE Universe has to wait for some time before the Survivor Series PLE plays out and unveils all the mysteries within.

Ever since Khan expelled him with the excuse of being worried about him during his scuffle with Jack Perry at All In, the former WWE world champion was widely speculated to make a return to his old wrestling home.
Although, Punk burnt bridges with WWE too, still his current available status for some more time before hanging up his boots and some other factors, the idea of a WWE return seemed extremely viable to the wrestling buffs.
To top that, Seth Rollins to Michael Cole started using huge Punk references in the weekly shows. But still, later, the company higher-ups denied it outright.
Amidst the confusing mess, Punk, too, reportedly shut down the rumors of planning to jump ship to WWE again.
Fightful Select reported that the contract talks between WWE and Punk were completely misleading.
But then again Punk boarded on the flip side with his two back-to-back massive teases.

The 45-year-old last wrestled in the WWE ring back in Royal Rumble 2014.
Now, it’s tantalizing to see if he again turns up in the company ring anytime soon or not.
