For the first time in nearly 30 years, the UK hosted a WWE Premium Live event with Clash at the Castle. And the night didn’t disappoint, with arguably the biggest shock of 2022 coming at the end of an epic match between The Judgement Day and the tag team of Edge and Rey Mysterio.

However, it finally happened in Cardiff. Rey’s son Dominik put an end to all rumors as he turned on the WWE Hall of Famer and his own father, who he was once the Tag Team champions with.

It seems after being getting played by The Judgement Day, Dominick Mysterio finally plans to get out of his father’s shadow.

With a low blow to Edge, the 25-year-old superstar then took his father out with a wicked clothesline before storming out of the ring to a deafening round of boos from the Cardiff crowd.

Fans share mixed reactions as Dominick attacks Edge, and Rey Mysterio to turn heel

Even though the fans rejoiced this heel turn, not everyone enjoyed Dominick’s turn on his father after a win on The Judgement Day.

Clearly these two fans aren’t happy as Dominick turned against his legendary father after their match.

Happy for Dominick Mysterio as he will be a singles star now.

The fans are loving what Triple H has in his pocket to make this feud look great.

Last but not the least, credits to Rhea Ripley.

Dominick will appear on RAW to talk about his actions at Clash at the Castle. It seems he will join his arch rivals, The Judgement Day, or face his father Rey Mysterio for a few months. However, have to wait for next week’s RAW to know about it.

Dominick Mysterio has come a long way since his debut. The son of Rey Mysterio started directly on the main roster on RAW brand and instantly.

He had feuds with some top names of the company and even won SmackDown Tag Titles with his father. Now after leaving his father’s shadow, Dominick will enter singles competition or go to NXT after some time.
