The Bloodline has undergone several changes in its members and dynamics. Most importantly, they do not have a Wise Man now. Therefore, no one’s available to rein in their most violent desires. As you are aware, there are several rumors surrounding the Bloodline at present. It appears that another speculation has surfaced that could point the way towards The Bloodline’s next opponent.

Every wrestler who crosses paths with the group gets annihilated by them. Recently, CM Punk was one wrestler who stood up to the Samoan faction. At that moment, Punk was in the ring with Paul Heyman, and The Wise Man requested the former WWE Champion to accompany him since he no longer wanted to be a part of the Bloodline.

This segment was recently mentioned on the latest episode of the Busted Open podcast, and it was suggested that Punk could be in full guilt mode right now. The reason for this is that Heyman requested that the megastar take him, but he could not grant his request. Heyman incurred the wrath of his own faction members the next week, which means the former AEW star could look to take revenge on the faction.

On the podcast, it was stated, “How guilty do you think CM Punk feels? Because remember Paul Heyman asked him, take me with you. I mean, CM Punk’s dealing with his own stuff. He ended up getting attacked and whatnot. But think about it. I, that’s got to. You know, I hope that this circles back, CM Punk into this bloodline storyline at some point far along.”

But is their suggestion a feasible one? Let’s explore the prospect below.

Can Punk compete against Bloodline and Cody Rhodes?

CM Punk is currently in a feud with Drew McIntyre, with whom he has been in heated rivalry from the start of 2024. In fact, it appears that Punk will have a match with the Scottish Psychopath at the summer’s greatest party, SummerSlam. However, it is possible that Punk will be free after that and could face The Bloodline.

Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, is currently feuding with the Bloodline, along with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. Although they have occasionally laid havoc on the faction, they find themselves currently at a numerical disadvantage, and Punk filling in for that role could be fitting considering his and Heyman’s history.
