Chris Jericho Calls WWE ‘Petty’ for Ignoring One of His Greatest Moments on WWE RAW

Chris Jericho is an outspoken man. The current AEW superstar never shies away from speaking his mind on a public platform, regardless if all eyes are on him. With his bitterness with WWE and Triple H still vividly viewable, the 52-year-old has once again taken a snarky jab at the promotion he once worked for close to two decades. 

The iconic superstar recently responded to a tweet on Twitter. The tweet in question had a connection to one decision made by the company.  This didn’t go down well with Jericho. Furthermore, the superstar ended up indirectly mocking WWE.

Chris Jericho calls out WWE for its pettiness

Jericho was an integral part of WWE, having stayed with the promotion for over 18 years. Touted as having one of the greatest debuts on Monday Night Raw, he secured several championships in his illustrious career.

He still holds the unique accomplishment of beating both Stone Cold Steve Austin and Dwayne Johnson on the same night to become the first-ever undisputed WWE Champion in history, in 2001.

However, over the years, the relationship has turned sour, which eventually led to him leaving the organization. Now, with years of bitterness, Jericho has once again disrespected WWE by responding to a person on Twitter.

WWE recently paid tribute to the TV game show host, Bob Barker. The deceased celebrity once guest-hosted an episode of Raw in 2009. In that episode, he played a game with numerous WWE superstars. However, fans mostly remember the segment for his interaction with Jericho. 

But in the tribute, WWE cut out the part featuring Jericho, prompting a fan to call out WWE for their pettiness. Jericho, in his trademark way, responded to the tweet, hinting that he’s in alliance with the fan’s tweet.

While this is respectful, this isn’t the first time he’s let loose on WWE.

Jericho’s beef with WWE

The Rock and Roll superstar over the years has expressed his displeasure for WWE multiple times. It started in 2017, when Kevin Owens and Jericho were involved in arguably the biggest storyline at the time.

But WWE prioritizing Roman Reigns, in their quest to make him a star, led Reigns to main event WrestleMania. Nevertheless, Jericho’s match played second fiddle which finalized his decision to leave the promotion..

In addition, last year he publicly addressed how working in WWE was mentally taxing and praised AEW for its treatment being far better than WWE. His anger reached the threshold when he witnessed guys like The Big Show and Sting, among others, getting disrespected by the WWE during their last run.
