The reigning WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, is the ‘Queen’ of not just WWE but also the other promotions when it comes to in-ring accolades.
However, it was not an easy ride for the 14-time world champion, and she admitted in a recent interview that she was a shy kid growing up and never imagined herself working in front of a humongous crowd and appearing on TV on a weekly basis.
‘The Queen’ was recently drafted to Friday Night SmackDown; hence, becoming the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Now, she is looking for new opponents on the blue brand of WWE.

Charlotte Flair explains why she is the ‘Queen’
During the interview, ‘Second Nature’ was asked how evolved as a person and got into the wrestling business, even though she didn’t intend to do it.
Flair detailed about her mental state before getting into the wrestling world and confessed that she was the shy one back in her college days and would never come forward.
“It’s about being kind to yourself. How you talk to yourself really matters. I never believed that I could be on TV, or be a performer, or any of those things … why did I tell myself that for so many years? And now, here I am, the most decorated women’s champion of all-time.”

She also confessed that she completely transforms herself now every time she hears her music and makes an entrance. And honestly, the confidence shows on her face while she wrestles.

“It’s because we are scared of it. So, do what you are scared of. That biggest fear that you have…do that! When my music hits, I transform into something else,” Charlotte concluded.
The confidence Charlotte has now in her 0n-ring performances is unreal now. Currently, the WWE is portraying her as the face of the women’s division on SmackDown. Maybe we’ll soon see a new storyline for the ‘Queen’.
