Nikki Cross picked up two huge wins against the Raw Women’s Champion and the #1 contender on the past two episodes of Raw. Flair walked up to Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville, asking them to strike the loss to Nikki off her record. She asked for a rematch, but Rhea Ripley walked in and claimed she deserved a rematch as she actually respected Cross.

The WWE officials put Flair and Ripley in a tag team match with Cross and an opponent of her choice. Well, who did she choose? The former Raw Women’s Champion, Asuka. Flair promised to act professionally, but things descended into chaos on Raw.

The wrestling was impressive, and Cross proved she could hang with the division’s big names. Asuka and Rhea Ripley rekindled their rivalry and showcased their improved chemistry.

However, things would go incredibly well for Cross and Asuka, but horribly wrong for Flair and Ripley.

Tensions boiled over as Flair blindsided her partner and nailed her with the Natural Selection. Taking advantage of the situation, Cross picks up her second win over the Raw Women’s Champion in three weeks, making her more deserving of a title shot than Flair.

However, the animosity between Flair and Ripley built to a climax and we’ll see that unfold at Hell in a Cell.

The rivalry between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley began all the way in 2020 when Flair challenged Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship. Ripley boldly goaded Flair into facing her at WrestleMania, but suffered a devastating loss to the Queen.

At Hell in a Cell, the rivalry might come full circle as Ripley exorcises the only demon in her WWE career. However, Flair will be extra motivated since she’s chasing a huge record that will set her a class apart from the rest of WWE’s women’s division.

If Flair beats Ripley at Hell in a Cell, she will become a ten-time Women’s Champion. Having held the Raw Women’s Title four times and the SmackDown Women’s Title five times, she needs one more win to become the best in the division.
