The hosts asked Charlotte about Ric Flair’s career and whether he enjoyed wrestling in northern territories of USA. When The Nature Boy started wrestling, the industry was territorially based until Vince McMahon changed that. Back then, Flair wrestled day in-day out in multiple promotions.

The Queen said, “When you think of my dad (Ric Flair) versus Hulk Hogan, in today’s comparison my dad would have been the number one indie guy coming into the big company. My dad was a worker. He worked over the world every single night.” “So that’s the comparison he worked in every company”

Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan would have been a massive match in 1992 when the feud was hot. Charlotte had a point as the 1992 match between Flair and Hogan would have The Nature Boy look like an indie wrestler who has come in a big pond to challenge Hogan.

Ric Flair spent a small amount of time in WWE in 1992 and went to WCW till Vince McMahon purchased the Ted Turner company. Flair later returned to WWE and had a memorable run with Evolution and also had a classic WrestleMania match with Shawn Michaels.
