Chad Gable’s Future Seemingly Confirmed After Huge Backstage Clue Surfaces Amid Tony Khan Interest

Chad Gable‘s future has been one of the most interesting talking points in the past week. His contract was originally set to expire last Friday. However, there is no sign that he has left the company. And, in fact, he will fight this Saturday at Clash at the Castle for the Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn.

The belief in WWE is that Chad Gable has reached or is about to reach an agreement to renew with the company. In fact, WWE is already working on the assumption that the Alpha Academy leader will remain on the roster. In fact, a recent photograph on social media further solidified this notion. As it gives a hint toward a future storyline for the WWE superstar.

WWE had a special interest in Chad Gable continuing with the company. Because of the important role he has had in RAW programming since the second half of 2023. Especially in recent months when he underwent a heel turn. And in his heel run, he is already losing control of the Alpha Academy. So will he lose all control and leave the WWE?

Well, not according to a recent picture that reveals that he might get involved in a storyline with none other than Ivy Nile.

Gable and Ivy Nile have had a few backstage segments where he did not show much interest in the female superstar. However, now that the Alpha Academy might turn on him, he might be getting busy with this new recruitment. However, this story could only play out if he decides to remain with the WWE and that could prove difficult if interest in his services are as strong as it seems.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was revealed that All Elite Wrestling has an interest in Chad Gable. In fact, there are people in the company who are pushing for his hiring if it could happen. Dave Meltzer added that Gable had received a very good renewal offer from WWE. As per Fightful, sources within WWE and AEW assume that the Raw star has re-signed with the company. Or at least remain with them. So, from the looks of it, it seems like the WWE and Gable are aiming for another run together.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about the factors that could influence Gable’s decision to re-sign with WWE. He noted that if Gable were to win the Intercontinental Championship, it would be a major factor in him renewing his contract with WWE. “I could see Gable winning, but I don’t see them giving him the Intercontinental title with his contract about to expire and without having signed a new contract. That’s a good pressure, because we’re giving you the biggest push of your career, what they’re doing now. Obviously they don’t want him to leave and he’s doing very well,” Meltzer said.
