The night’s first match of the PLE was the Men’s Money in the Bank match. Fans expected a hard-hitting no-disqualification match with someone grabbing the briefcase. However, before the case was grabbed something else was which resulted in fans seeing something they did not pay for. During the match, Chad Gable had an oops moment, which led him to show off more than just his in-ring skills. One could say he showed the cracks in him.

During the match, Gable pulled down his straps as he usually does. However, following this, he attempted to climb the ladder. Since it’s everyman for himself, LA Knight was the one to try to stop him. Being high up, Knight grabbed his attire, which had no upper support, resulting in Knight mooning the fans without censorship.

The camera angle changed promptly to avoid further embarrassment and controversy. It was a blink, and you’ll miss it moment. Unfortunately for Gable, the internet will never let him forget it. The match showed off how good Gable was in the ring, with massive spots on his opponents. He even German Suplexed a ladder.

One of the night’s biggest spots was thanks to Gable. Upon grabbing the briefcase, Jey Uso removed the ladder from under him. This resulted in Gable letting go, only to fall to the mat. However, the social media fanbase had fun with this oops spot.

Continuing the match, Drew McIntyre picked up the win as he continued his efforts to reclaim title glory. This proved what he said earlier: he would be winning the briefcase and title. While fans wanted Uncle Howdy or the Wyatt 6 to interrupt the match, nothing happened.

Uncle Howdy didn’t interrupt Chad Gable

Going into the MITB PLE, Gable was a target of Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt 6. After taking him out during their debut, fans didn’t expect him to be in the match. However, not only did Gable qualify, but Nikki Cross also haunted him. Unfortunately, none of the Wyatt members appeared at the PLE during the match.

With McIntyre winning the case, Gable can return to his storyline with the Alpha Academy and the transition to the Creed Brothers. The haunting by Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt 6 will continue with Gable trying to escape the new stable. While their intention with Gable is unclear, the developing storyline will be interesting.
