Nia Jax was the winner of the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament, earning a title shot at the WWE Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam 2024. Jax eliminated Naomi, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair in the qualifiers leading up to the tournament’s grand finals, where she defeated former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria.

While it seems like WWE is gearing up to push Nia Jax as the top face, what if it is all a plan to set up Tiffany Stratton instead? WWE’s possible plans to make Tiffany Stratton the women’s champion

In recent months, Tiffany Stratton has had an impressive rise in the WWE. Since her NXT debut at the end of 2021, the 25-year-old has impressed everyone with her athleticism. And over the past year, she has managed to consecrate herself at the top of NXT when she won the NXT Women’s Championship, which she would eventually lose to Becky Lynch. Nonetheless, her rise continued, and it didn’t take long for her to make her way to the main roster, where she’s currently in the Blue Brand.

Though she has not won any titles here yet and got eliminated in the Queen of the Ring quarterfinals, it seems like the WWE is planning big things for ‘The Center of the Universe.’ At least that’s what Kate Elizabeth and Alexa Cardoza from Fightful believe. As in the latest edition of the Fightful Wrestling Podcast, Elizabeth revealed that the WWE might make Tiffany Stratton win the Money in the Bank and cash in on Bayley, as the current women’s champion might defeat Nia Jax on SummerSlam. Becoming a champion before the Queen claims the throne. In a way, stealing her crown like she did in a recent video.

“I think my guess is you’re probably looking at Bayley versus Nia at SummerSlam. Nia beats the hell out of her but loses. And my guess is a Tiffany Stratton cash-in. That’s the way I could see this playing out. Because we’ve had a lot of title-shot devices in a row. We got money in the bank. Tiffy in the bank seems like a no-brainer. Give that girl a pink briefcase, use the Barbie font on the side of it if you must. And I say that you must, but that feels like a good way to go.”

Stratton has participated in several premium live events this year, with the exception of WrestleMania 40. And despite not achieving the expected results, she has managed to excel in each of her performances. Thus getting public recognition for her amazing work on the main roster. As for Nia Jax, she too is showing a lot of improvement. Often criticized for her in-ring work and promo skills, it seems like Jax has finally found a special mentor to help her out.

Since her return to WWE in 2023, Nia Jax has shown great improvement in both her skills in the ring and the development of her character on television. Being a face little supported by the general WWE public, her recent performance has been generating good reviews. In some ways, it seems that we are witnessing a new era in her career.

Steve Carrier of Ringside News recently reported via Twitter/X that, according to sources close to the company, Paul Heyman has been helping Nia Jax with the character characterization aspects and behind-the-scenes promos. It is a good explanation for the recent improvement of the superstar’s abilities and is completely plausible in view of its results.
