Logan Paul returned to the WWE last week on SmackDown after beating Dillon Danis in a boxing match. Fresh after a thumping win, Paul immediately challenged Rey Mysterio for his United States Championship in front of the entire crowd. And Mysterio was gracious enough to accept the challenge and set the title match for Crown Jewel.

But with less than 10 days to go, can Logan Paul break his losing curse at Crown Jewel?

Logan Paul publicly challenged Rey Mysterio post his boxing match win against Dillon Danis. After hearing about his challenge, Mysterio was quick to reply and said that he would want to shut Logan Paul up soon. This led to Paul showing up on SmackDown to confront Mysterio.

As the two came face to face, Paul was very clear that he wanted to take the United States Championship away from Mysterio. Mysterio didn’t shy away from saying that his upcoming opponent reminded him of his ungrateful son, Dominik Mysterio. He also made it clear that he was going to win the match by saying, “I’m not gonna hesitate to whoop your a**”. Thus setting up the title match for Crown Jewel. But can Paul finally win a match at the PLE held in Saudi Arabia? The Youtuber doesn’t have a solid record at the marquee PLE as The Tribal Chief handed him a devastating loss last year.

Then again, Paul won his last WWE main event match against Ricochet at SummerSlam. This foul victory was courtesy of the brass knuckles that were passed to Paul in the dying stages of the match. But will the YouTuber resort to such cheap tricks to win the title from Mysterio? Or will the LWO and Carlito foil any of Paul’s dastardly plans? We will only have to wait and watch.

Paul put on a great show and even performed his over-the-top high-risk maneuvers to enthrall the fans. His entourage was sitting just ringside to create distractions but The Usos popped up and started attacking them.

This led to his younger brother Jake Paul coming out to even out the odds. After knocking out The Usos, Solo Sikao confronted him. That’s when Logan Paul came to his rescue and then entered the ring. But that gave Reigns enough time to rejuvenate and he delivered a thunderous spear, thus winning the match and retaining his title.
