AEW has been getting praise around the globe after the phenomenal start of its new weekly show. With this, fans are expecting to see more stars getting opportunities to perform inside the ring. However, things are not as simple as they seem.

According to the latest report, a top AEW star will not be there on the company’s TV shows for a while. This made fans a little worried about the star as she stepped inside Tony Khan’s company just eight months ago and now she has been removed from programming.

Top AEW star is out of action

Recently, the American pro wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer shared not-so-good news with the fans about the top AEW star Saraya. According to the report, the fans won’t be able to see the star on AEW TV shows for a while. And, the reason for the same is “Undisclosed”.

“Saraya isn’t around right now either for undisclosed reasons.”, said Dave Meltzer.

This made her fans worried as Saraya entered the AEW ring just eight months ago. Most of the fans are wondering if the reason is her poor health. As soon as they got this news, fans came online and started to show their concern via tweets. Here are the top fan reactions:

The main reason why fans are showing more concern about her health than any other reason for her break is that the star suffered a severe injury in 2017 that ended her career in WWE as a wrestler.

Saraya’s major neck injury

In December 2017, Saraya suffered a major neck injury while performing in a six-woman tag team match at a WWE house show. It was so severe that the company didn’t give her medical clearance to perform inside the ring.

Saraya served WWE with several non-wrestling roles until she moved to AEW in 2022.

Currently, Saraya is portraying a heel character in AEW. In May 2023, the fans saw her performing inside the ring for the last time. She was rumored to face Mercedes Mone at the upcoming AEW and NJPW collaboration pay-per-view, Forbidden Door.

However, now the plan may get altered as both Mone and Saraya are currently out of action and their return is not confirmed yet.
