Even though he is a beloved heel, and a dominating Universal Champion, fans wish for him to have more title defenses. Similar things are also being wished for Rhea Ripley. Although her appearances on Monday Night Raw are more frequent, fans want her to defend her title more often.

This sentiment was brought to ‘The Eradicator’s notice to reflect upon. So, she recently took the liberty to call out fans who were worried about her becoming more like The Tribal Chief.

Rhea Ripley is confident despite reducing her title defenses like Roman Reigns

WWE likes to build up Reigns’ story a little before placing him in the squared circle against a challenger so that fans can connect with the main event more. In the case of Rhea Ripley, things are a bit different. Mami’s dominating grip on the women’s division makes it likely why WWE doesn’t want her to fight to defend often. But the wrestler herself thinks differently.

WWE recently posted a video of Rhea Ripley on its official Instagram account. In the video, we can see the female wrestler talking about fans’ complaints regarding her lack of title defenses.

The Women’s WWE Champion replied in the video, saying, “People like to complain that ‘Mami doesn’t have many matches. Mami doesn’t do too much. She’s too involved with the Judgment Day.’ Well, at the end of the day, Mami is busy doing business.” She further added, “I’m running Monday Night Raw and I’m running my division. And there’s nothing anyone can do about it.”

Mami clearly states that she does not pay much attention to whether she gets enough chances to prove her worthiness to hold the title. This is because she believes she already controls the division and the red brand.

Unfortunately, there is a slight chance that this dissatisfaction among fans may cause Mami to lose the momentum that has been built around her in the official WWE shop.

Mami could learn from Roman Reigns’ experience

Despite being a heel, The Head of the Table has been the face of WWE for a long time now. Despite this, he faced a slight problem with fans when everyone realized that his appearances were fewer than usual. As a result, he started losing the hype around his merch, eventually causing him to fall behind other top stars in terms of ‘best-selling wrestlers’.
