May it be the UFC or WWE – there is literally nobody who can match the magnitude of the ‘Beast Incarnate‘ Brock Lesnar in the entire professional fighting and wrestling business.
The eight-time World Champion is Vince McMahon’s favorite legitimate top star and money maker. But, it wasn’t too nice between the company and Lesnar when the ‘Beast Incarnate’ infamously left WWE after his match against Goldberg at WrestleMania XX.

Speaking on his Something To Wrestle with Bruce Prichard podcast, Prichard disclosed why WWE did not allow Brock Lesnar to work for any other wrestling promotion. He also spoke on why WWE wanted to put a restraining order on Brock Lesnar when he violated his contract to appear for NJPW.
“Yeah, because again, we made the investment in training him initially and getting him to the popularity that he was at. Brock was unhappy, wanted to do other things. That’s fine, you can try other things. However, we had made the investment in him in the sports-entertainment category and wanted to protect that so, just strictly business.” H/t PostWrestling.com
Brock Lesnar continued wrestling in NJPW and won the prestigious IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar’s final match in Japan was against the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle. He lost the champion versus champion match.
