WWE released 12 Superstars late tonight while they aired SmackDown live on FOX. However, the superstars on the list were from NXT and 205 Live, not the main roster.

One of the major releases on that list was Bronson Reed who was having a major push for the main events and was almost all set to move up the ladder and debut on the main roster.

WWE released many other Superstars alongside former NXT North American Champion, Bronson Reed. According to PWInsider, this is the final list of released individuals, and no other names will be added to it.

The twelve superstars are – Bronson Reed, Tyler Rust, Bobby Fish, Leon Ruff, Mercedes Martinez, Jake Atlas, Ari Sterling, Asher Hale, Zechariah Smith, Giant Zanjeer, Kona Reeves, and referee Stephon Smith.

WWE Superstars react to these massive releases

As noted earlier, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful tweeted the list of individuals released by WWE while SmackDown was still airing.

However, many released superstars took to Twitter and got their message across to their fans, letting them know how they are feeling.

Jake Atlas wrote a confident Tweet saying that he always knew he was famous but nobody noticed. But what’s good to see is various other Superstars wished well for Jake and blessed him for his future.

Ex-WWE superstar, Chelsea Green, wished well for Atlas.

Ari Sterling, who also got released, put up a simple yet strong message on Twitter. He wrote his ‘Alex Zayne’ persona from the indies is greater than ‘Ari Sterling’ in WWE.

The most interesting Tweet came from former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed who said that WWE has no idea about what they have done.

This tweet might lead to an interesting turn of events as Reed has clearly established himself as a reliable force during his tenure in NXT time and time again.
