Brock Lesnar was greatly affected by the Vince McMahon scandal earlier in the year. WWE decided to remove him from any promotion and posters so that his image would not damage the company. Since then, The Beast has not stepped foot in the WWE ring again or been involved in any reference. This could change over time. Especially depending on the outcome of the trial between Janel Grant and WWE-Vince McMahon.
In a Daily Mail interview in London, after several members of the WWE management staff spoke with the Mayor of London about a possible edition of WrestleMania in the city in the future, Triple H spoke about Brock Lesnar. He pointed out that, if Lesnar wanted to do something, they would be open to talking to him for his return.
He said, “You’d have to ask Brock Lesnar that. Brock does his own thing. So, he’s up in Canada, I’m sure, watching his kids play hockey and enjoying life. If and when he decides that he would like to do something, we’d be open to the conversation. But, we’ll see.” This is not the first time that Triple H has referred to this issue. In post-WrestleMania statements, he confirmed that The Beast is still part of WWE. So can we expect Lesnar to return anytime soon? Maybe at SummerSlam? Especially now that we know that he is free to walk in whenever he feels comfortable.

Unfortunately, things aren’t so easy for the Beast Incarnate. Amid speculation about a possible return of Brock Lesnar to WWE, the company’s legal team has shared its perspective on this potential development. Lesnar, known for his impressive WWE career and significant impact on pro wrestling, has been a recurring topic of conversation among fans and company executives.
So is Lesnar free to return whenever he wishes to?
On the last Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer pointed out that if Lesnar decides to approach WWE to return, he would have to get important clearance from his legal team. For now, they have advised that they stay away from Brock Lesnar due to his name appearing in the Vince McMahon-Janel Grant sex trafficking lawsuit. Meltzer stated that although the belief may change in the future, Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE would depend on the approval or rejection of his legal team.

He said, “If Brock calls and goes ‘I wanna come back for WrestleMania this year’, I was told that the lawyers advised nothing to do with Brock right now. That could change, they could go in there and say there’s been enough time. And I’m sure that’s what it was gonna be, is like ‘when is enough time to where we can think we can bring him back’. And that’s what it is.” He further added, “It’s not like nothing like ‘Oh we can bring back Brock’, and maybe they could but it’s got everything to do with the case, and obviously he won’t say that publicly, and perhaps he shouldn’t. But if he comes back it’s because the lawyers have okay’d it, and if he doesn’t come back, it’s because they haven’t.”
Lesnar was initially scheduled to participate in the 2024 Royal Rumble event, but legal issues related to Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit interrupted these plans. But in the aforementioned interview with WWE CCO Triple H, he stated that the decision ultimately rests with Lesnar himself. So the WWE might actually have the intent of bringing him back. Well, it seems like the Janel Grant case brought major changes to the promotion. The first was the resignation of Vince McMahon as CEO. Later, the removal of Brock Lesnar from the Royal Rumble and from WWE Supercard. He was also slated to be deleted from WWE 2K24, although that decision was ultimately not carried out. What do you think? Will Lesnar return anytime soon? Let us know in the comments.
