WWE is just a few weeks away from celebrating WrestleMania, the biggest wrestling event of the year. This will be the 40th edition of the great event, and it will take place in Philadelphia. However, WWE already has an eye toward the future. After evaluating different options, they have seemingly earmarked a frontrunner for hosting WrestleMania 41.
While no official announcement has come to light yet, reports point to WrestleMania 41 taking place at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Brock Lesnar’s hometown. Although unconfirmed, recent events clearly point in this direction.

A proposal by Minnesota Sports and Events to host WrestleMania 41 at US Bank Stadium came to light on Wednesday. This news surfaced after a report published this piece of coveted information in the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The Star Tribune was told by Wendy Blackshaw, President and CEO of MNSE, that the selection process was “very competitive.”
So it seems like it would be Minneapolis, Minnesota, the city where it seems that WrestleMania 41 will finally be held. Thus ruling out Las Vegas, which was the other great option that WWE had to host the celebration of the glorious event. If WrestleMania 41 finally arrives in Minneapolis, this would be the first time in history that this city would host an edition of the marquee event. And it could be beneficial for two reasons. Firstly, it is the hometown of ‘the Beast’ Brock Lesnar. And while Wikipedia shows his hometown as Webster, South Dakota, according to WWE’s official website it is Minneapolis, Minnesota. So we might get to see him at WrestleMania again. And second, it would surely bring an economic boost to Minnesota.

Minnesota House Bill 3934, introduced on Feb. 19, hinted at the arrival of a major sporting event in the state. However, officials could not disclose details at the time. Notably, during discussions related to this bill, reports suggested that another major event, potentially WrestleMania, would have an economic impact that would rival that of the Super Bowl.
The economic benefits of hosting WrestleMania are substantial, as past events generated significant revenue for their respective regions. For example, WrestleMania 39 contributed $215 million to the Los Angeles region, while WrestleMania 38 collected approximately $24.8 million in taxes for the Dallas area.
