Roman Reigns is not someone you want to annoy – The Tribal Chief is the very definition of a “Beast.” The two-time WWE Universal Champion gives immense respect to his heritage and family roots, which is why fans were shocked when a WWE Legend took a subtle dig at the Samoan’s family during WrestleMania Week in 2015, while using the name of Brock Lesnar.
Every wrestling fan knows who Paul Heyman is – the image of Heyman walking beside the Conqueror himself, Brock Lesnar, is still fresh in the memory of fans. Heyman, whose loud and charismatic persona is well known and loved, subtly roasted Roman Reigns and his family in a HeymanHustle video showcasing behind-the-scenes footage from WrestleMania Week 2015. Reigns and Lesnar faced off for the WWE World Championship that year.

While talking about the antiquated notion that competing wrestlers have to hate each other, Heyman exclaimed, “Nobody beats my a*s when Brock Lesnar’s around, not even Roman Reigns’ entire family, which Brock Lesnar would smack around like this! Not that I’m threatening that Brock Lesnar will smack around your family like that because he doesn’t get paid to do it.” Fans may admire Heyman’s courage for being able to slander the Chief so casually, but Heyman had a terrifying bodyguard this time – the one and only Lesnar.
Brock Lesnar is the real ‘Beast’
If there is one man in the WWE who intimidates fans and wrestlers alike, it is Lesnar. The 45-year-old titan, who was formerly the NCAA wrestling champion and has three WWE Universal Championship wins, most spectacularly put a stop to The Undertaker’s unbeaten streak at WrestleMania XXX.
Even outside the ring, Lesnar is a force to be reckoned with – even commentator Joe Rogan once referred to him as simply “genetically superior.” Lesnar’s workout routine is so intense that the ‘Next Big Thing’ does not even need to watch his diet; his remote, isolated home in Saskatchewan is definitely a huge positive as it allows him to train in peace.

Lesnar has some bad blood with Reigns – part of it involving the lovable Heyman as well. The Beast was toppled by Reigns during SummerSlam and lost out on becoming the undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Lesnar was cornered on all sides, with Heyman trying to protect The Tribal Chief and The Usos showing up last minute to support Reigns.

Although Lesnar hit him with the F-5, Heyman’s devotion to Reigns has not waned in the least. As he said, “I’m so tired of this antiquated notion that professional wrestlers all hate each other! I’m not even a wrestler, I’m just an advocate!” However, fans agree on one thing, and that is that Paul Heyman needs to watch his back carefully; one never trifles with The Beast.
