As we all know, Brock Lesnar is one of the most recognizable faces in WWE right now. His contribution to the company starts from the start of the millennium and is still continuing strong. Just his appearances in this year combined, had more views on WWE YouTube than half of the roster. It is a testimony in itself that people love Lesnar and they pay to see him every time the Beast comes around.

But this might not have been the case if Lesnar had decided to go for MMA. In his two runs with the UFC, we have seen that Lesnar can be a wrecking machine, even without much practice. But what would have happened if Lesnar was thoroughly taught the moves and techniques?

Brock Lesnar once revealed his reasoning for not joining the UFC

During an interview with Sports Illustrated,

Brock Lesnar was asked about his interest in UFC and why he didn’t go for the company at the beginning of his career. Lesnar answered, “I was a fan back in 1999, followed the sport, worked out, and even was going to take a fight in Reno. So in the back of my mind, I always thought I should give it a try. But on the business side of things, it just wasn’t lucrative at the time.

During one of the podcast shows, Joe Rogan also shared his insights about Lesnar joining UFC instead of WWE. He said that Lesnar could’ve been a legend and a generational talent, plowing through the men of the UFC, back in the day. But it should also be mentioned that without his fame and popularity in WWE, Lesnar may not have garnered the kind of spotlight that he got during his first run with the company.

Brock Lesnar shocked the world when he entered Dana White’s company. He finished people left and right and won the championship in just three matches. While winning was a great achievement, he also defended it successfully twice before losing it. Even after returning to WWE, people often talk about Lesnar. So there is always a certain hope of him returning.
