Brock Lesnar has been the WWE Champion more times than there have been black champions for the same belt. However, his achievement stands for defeating all four ex-WWE Champions from the black community at least during one of their reigns.
This streak started in the year 2002 when the WWE legend defeated The Rock at SummerSlam. Considering the now TKO director’s African-American heritage, he was the first-ever wrestler from his community to win the WWE Championship. This was taken away by Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2002.
After him, Lesnar picked up his streak in 2019 when he defeated Kofi Kingston in merely seven seconds. A few years later, the ex-UFC Champion went after Big E and pinned him in a fatal five-way match in January 2022. The next month, Brock Lesnar defeated Bobby Lashley at Elimination Chamber to create this infamous record for himself that not everyone is aware of.
This is not the only iconic record that Brock Lesnar has to his name in WWE. In fact, the multiple-time WWE Champion created history during his early years in the promotion.

Brock Lesnar made another ‘ring-breaking’ record
On a SmackDown episode in the year 2003, Brock Lesnar faced The Big Show. This matchup wasn’t ordinary as it was going to be one of the most iconic moments in WWE history. Toward the end of the match, the former WWE superstar seemed to be winning. However, the tides turned around when Lesnar was able to take him to one of the corners and seat him on the top turnbuckle.
Brock Lesnar then created the iconic ‘ring-breaking’ moment for the first time by giving his opponent a superplex from the top rope. Although there have been instances where this was repeated, Lesnar vs Big Show was the first time that it happened in WWE.
