As a prominent Hollywood celebrity, Dwayne Johnson has built a solid reputation in the entertainment industry. He produced several successful films during his career, which came after his famed wrestling career. It’s reasonable to assume that he has turned into a blockbuster machine and that everyone in the business wants to collaborate with the Black Adam actor. Brock Lesnar, though, is an exception.

Lesnar developed the persona of the menacing man with freakish superpowers who turns up and decimates the arena. As Lesnar has never really glorified anyone, it is undoubtedly difficult to win him over. And he once stated he denied being in one of The Rock’s movies.

Brock Lesnar once denied to star in a film with Dwayne Johnson

At the Assiniboia Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction in 2019, Lesnar spoke with Rod Pedersen as he served as the keynote speaker. The Beast Incarnate was questioned about who would win in a street battle between him and The Rock, and he afterward recalled the exchange. They are excellent pals, Lesnar retorted. Moreover, he disclosed that he had once refused to star in his films and explained why.

Pederson recalled their conversation and stated, “The Rock has asked Lesnar to appear in his movies but the deal is that The Rock always has to win their fights and for that reason, Lesnar’s always said no. [H/T: Express.Co.Uk]”

We all know that Lesnar detests defeat, even when he is portraying a fictional character in a film. As a result, he rejected working with the Hollywood Megastar, Johnson. And it tells a lot about Lesnar’s continuous competitiveness in real life. It’s interesting to note that The Rock and Lesnar did battle in the WWE. If you didn’t know, Lesnar won the WWE Championship by defeating The Rock. After this, Johnson left for Hollywood, and the rest is history.
