Brock Lesnar is not just born with a great body. But, had to work for it like the rest of us. However, in his case, the workout routines are a bit on the extreme end. Especially when the Beast Incarnate went through a transition period in his life. Back when Lesnar strayed far away from the spotlight, after his exit from the WWE. Many fans questioned his decision to join hands with the UFC instead.

But, As always, he was ‘Brock Solid’ on his decision. He pursued his childhood dream and lived a farm boy’s life in Minnesota with his mind set on one goal.

To become the UFC heavyweight champion. And to realize that dream, Lesnar used all his spare time to train himself in his home gym, equipped with a full-sized wrestling mat. Even though he’s no stranger to complex routines, The Conqueror really felt his muscles strain after one particular routine.

Bear Crawling is the Achilles heel of workout monster, Brock Lesnar

In an old interview with the UFC, the 8-time WWE World champion expressed his distaste towards the bear crawl workout routine. Where Lesnar had to sprint on his fours, tied to a weight, and run the entire distance of the room. That was a minor segment in the entire API workout plan.

Bear crawling tests core strength which is vital for wrestlers. Lesnar described it and said “The only ones I really despise is the bear crawl. it’s like … a nightmare. If I had to put down on paper how many miles I’ve bear crawled my entire life, it would probably be again 100 miles.”

Therefore, The Conqueror was determined to conquer his toughest adversary, head-on. Instead of giving up on the routine, Lesnar embraced the challenge and improved his abilities as a result.

Brock Lesnar grew up on a farm. So this lifestyle enabled him to stay focused and achieve his ultimate goal. And it eventually paid off, as Lesnar went on to have a glittering career in the UFC. He became the undisputed UFC Heavyweight champion in 2010. Cementing his status among the best wrestlers in history.
