In a recent turn of events, ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar was added to the fatal-4 way match for the WWE Championship in the wake of Universal champion Roman Reigns COVID-19 news.

However, this didn’t upset fans as it only made the match more enticing. Lesnar was the fifth opponent for Big E tonight at the WWE Day 1 PPV and made the match a fatal-5 way match.

‘The Beast’ Lesnar beat the rest of the four athletes, to get the coveted WWE Championship. Right off the bat, this match was as brutal as it could get.

Brock Lesnar blindsided everyone at WWE Day 1 PPV

No one saw this coming, because Lesnar was added into the match merely hours before the PPV. However, given his popularity, the WWE creative team decided to move Lesnar as the champion.

And the WWE Universe absolutely loved it. The moment ‘Beast Incarnate’ pinned Big E for the win, the arena erupted in a roar.

The main event for Day 1 PPV was a fast-paced action-packed match that saw bodies flying from all four corners of the ring. However, it was not only Lesnar who dominated the match.

In fact, there were times when it felt like Lesnar would never win this bout.

Right off the bat, Lesnar delivered back-to-back suplexes to Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins. However, things came to a halt for the Beast once Lasley speared him through the barricade.

Even the alliance of Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins took their turn on Lesnar when Rollins delivered suicide dive on Lesnar, pinning him to the floor while Owens attempted the frog splash from the ring apron.

Even the former WWE champion Bobby Lashley seemed like a strong contender and there were times when everyone thought he’ll be the one to win the title.

However, Big E fought an uphill battle with these many men to defend against. He also got his hands on Lashley when he grabbed him and delivered a side slam to him on the announcer’s desk.
