Brock Lesnar‘s inclusion in 2k24 was hanging in uncertainty for quite some time now, since he was dragged into Vince McMahon’s scandal, WWE almost removed him from the 2k24’s main roster. This followed his removal from WWE SuperCard and from the cover of WWE 2K24. Rumors have been running rampant that he will be totally unplayable in the latest 2k game series. But Lesnar didn’t break his fans’ hearts at all.

The Beast’s game files are still visible in the final release of WWE 2K24. Fans can play him as well, but only with the Showcase mode on. A new update emerges on his already revealed 2k24 inclusion. He has been an instrumental figure in the promotion for decades. It was hard to accept the Beast Incarnate’s complete absence in WWE’s fan-favorite game series. Though in an extremely limited periphery, his participation in one way or another alone brings a relaxing air to the WWE community.

Lesnar took part in a total of 11 WrestleMania matches in his career, but in 2k24, only two (WrestleMania 30, WrestleMania 31) managed to get in. However, there was doubt regarding fans’ access to these matches unless and until 2k uploaded Lesnar ’14 and Lesnar ’15 onto Community Creations.

In Showcase Mode, players get to control Brock Lesnar ’14 and Brock Lesnar ’15. It’s pertinent to note that these two are separate playable characters rather than just some alternate avatars because the making of Brock Lesnar ’14 is distinct from Brock Lesnar ’15 in multiple ways. Also, it includes a few more features like Heyman Manager Motions, “Brock” call name, commentary, accurate attires, in-game models, etc.

In the video that was earlier released for WWE 2K24, the cover of the “40 Years of WrestleMania” edition of the game did not have Brock Lesnar on it. He was replaced by John Cena. He was also removed from Royal Rumble and WrestleMania plans. There had been plans for Lesnar to face WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther, but with his name spotted in the current superstars roster on the WWE website, this has given rise to speculation as to whom will the WWE veteran face once he returns, and possibly on WrestleMania. Well, it might be a dream match come true for fans, as well as Gunther.

Gunther became one of the most dominant superstars on WWE’s current roster, as he already faced veterans like Sheamus and Rey Mysterio. The Austrian confessed in an interview last year that he would love to face Brock Lesnar. He said, “You never really know what you get with Brock… It’s definitely a match I want to have and I want to do. I feel Brock is somebody, I just make it my thing, I make him my personal End Boss. That’s the guy that, at one point, I have to step in the ring (with) to validate myself.”

Now with Lesnar’s name back on the roster, we could expect to see him in action. However, this move doesn’t get in WWE’s way of remaining hard-headed regarding McMahon’s allegations.

WWE 2K24 censored Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon’s faces in some footage

The epic celebration of 40 years of WrestleMania through the animated game series has been marred a little because of the little too limited participation of two marquee figures, Vince McMahon and Lesnar. Although fans got their chance to play Lesnar, WWE kept the Beast blurred in the archival footage.

Vince McMahon has also been spotted with a blurred face in some of the scenarios. One of these scenarios includes his uncensored Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock match. This treatment possibly goes on unless the alleged prove themselves innocent.

A lot of blurring was seen within the title, including the scratch WWF logo and many former referees. Additionally, fans noted that former US President and Hall of Famer Donald Trump was also blurred when he sat in the audience for WrestleMania 5, which saw Hulk Hogan face Randy Savage in the main event.
