WWE has released several superstars in the last few years and some of them joined the popular competitor, AEW. The FTR is one such team. One of the top tag teams of their generation, FTR, comprises Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood. The team left WWE in April 2020 and made their AEW debut in May of the same year.

However, now the tag team has had some issues in AEW and their status going forward with the company is in doubt. Considering the immense talent that the two possess, fans miss them a lot.

FTR’s Cash Wheeler gets his fans emotional
In a recent tweet by Wheeler, he asked his fans, “y’all miss us or something?” With this, he pointed out AEW’s tag team division and its current state. Although the company still has a lot of talented names in the tag division having FTR in there would’ve been a big boost.

Where will the FTR stand after this?
Although the tag team is still with AEW, it is reported that they will be free agents from April 2023. There were also some rumors about the duo joining WWE yet again.
Nothing has yet been confirmed from the reason to depart to the possible return. However, amongst all the uncertainty, fans can expect both stars to make a comeback sooner rather than later on the wrestling scene.
