Brie Bella on Rumors of Wanting to Kill ‘Brother’ John Cena in 2018: “My Heart Is Hurting..”

There is no one in wrestling as popular in the current generation as John Cena. Cena’s face is one with WWE, the company itself. His influence and popularity when it comes to wrestling reach out to the entire world.

While there were many who didn’t like him during his extended period as the face of the company then, they beg for him to come home today. Surprisingly, that is not always the case.

Just like any other superstar or celebrity, Cena also has his fair share of haters. It was common in WWE to see half the audience chanting, ‘Let’s Go, Cena’ and the other half saying, ‘Cena Sucks!’ So you can guess how many people have been against him. And this was at the beginning of his career in the company. Just imagine how much it is now.

Rumors once had it that John Cena was being threatened after his breakup with Nikki Bella

After Nikki and Cena’s breakup, People’s magazine reported, “On one level, Brie wants to kill [John], sure. No one should be allowed to hurt her sister like this.”

But after that, Brie cleared the rumors by posting this on her story. She wrote, “I’d never say this. I’ll always love [John Cena] like a brother. He’ll always be family. My heart is hurting for he and my sister.”

Brie Bella was also a wrestler who worked alongside her sister, Nikki Bella, and the 16-time World Champion, John Cena. She is also the wife of the man who beat Cena to win the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, Daniel Bryan or Bryan Danielson.

One of the most iconic feuds she was involved with was her fight with Stephanie McMahon. Stepping up to an authority figure in wrestling is always a great story, but she worked hard to make the feud memorable.

While they never interacted in the ring, Brie and Cena were close friends on the reality TV, Total Bellas. They had various games and conservation that made the relationship between them feel genuine. But as we know Cena could make a comeback, it would be great to see them share a segment on Raw or SmackDown down the line.
