CM Punk and Bret Hart‘s story in WWE is quite similar. Just like Punk, Hart also had a falling out with WWE in 1997 after the Montreal Screwjob incident. But when he returned in 2007, Vince McMahon welcomed him and accepted his return willingly.
Similarly, ‘The Second City Saint’ had a highly publicized beef with Triple H, which led him to walk out of the promotion. But now both parties have mended their relationship. Punk’s return was an enormous success and earned quite a profit for the company. Even more, it was a colossal hit in Hart’s home country as well.
