The wrestling industry counts the WrestleMania 13 match between Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin amongst the best ever. During the match, both men fought vigorously in search of a win.
In the recent interview, Bret Hart talked about the match, where he mentioned how Steve Austin agreed to do as Hart said. “Yeah! I did. I knew I could read it, I could tell but I don’t want to take anything away from Steve Austin who’s a great wrestler but I think that match is a Bret Hart match that’s me sitting down telling Steve Austin what we’re gonna do and him just agreeing with me and saying okay I love it.”
“I love the story you’re telling. You know the way I’m envisioning it, the way you’re talking it through and it’s like okay, well, that’s exactly what we’re gonna do. This is what the story’s gonna be surprised at the end. But the fans are gonna love you and they’re gonna hate me. It was just uh! someone that knows how to read an audience before you get there.” said Bret Hart.
The stipulation of the match was a submission match, and Bret Hart stood victorious in the end. The match continued for a long time, with both superstars giving it their all. In the last moments of the match, Hart caught Austin in a sharpshooter submission hold, and Austin, in the end, gave up.

Although Austin tried to keep his momentum in the match, he couldn’t stand against “Hitman” Hart. The match had many exciting moments with Austin getting badly injured.
