There has been a lot of anxiety rolling around the WWE Universe about Bray Wyatt’s impending in-ring return for a while now. Despite attaining a prized spot through his iconic character ‘Fiend’ and Firefly Funhouse, Wyatt shockingly saw the end of his WWE contract in July 2021. However, he reverted back to the fold at Extreme Rules 2022 only to disappear again, putting his highly speculated WrestleMania 39 match against Bobby Lashley on ice.

It was reported that the 36-year-old’s unspecified medical condition kept him refrained from stepping into the mix. After the latest SummerSlam return rumor crashed, fans couldn’t really see a ray of hope regarding his return until his father came to the fore with a massive reassurance.

It’s been a long time since Wyatt last danced in the squared circle, taking down the current WWE sensation LA Knight at Royal Rumble. However, a few days back, a report emerged suggesting the leader of the Wyatt Family inching closer toward a complete medical clearance to wrestle in the ring. Now, Wyatt’s father, renowned wrestler, Mike Rotunda, aka IRS, has provided an encouraging update.

Rotunda, 65, revealed in a recent interview that his son will head to return soon. In an exclusive with Wrestling Binge Sportskeeda he said, ”You read a lot of stuff on the internet, which I wouldn’t believe a lot of or, in my case, any of it. So, Bray Wyatt, I’m sure we will return to WWE hopefully shortly and we’ll go from there.”

The former WWE superstar also provided a relaxing update about another family member who served the business with grace during the 1980s and 1990s.

Mike Rotunda gave an important health update about another legendary wrestler

The Rotunda family includes a number of veterans writing their legacy in the business for ages. From Bray Wyatt’s maternal grandfather, Hall of Famer Robert Windham, to his brother Bo Dallas, the iconic wrestling family is a hub of many gems.

Wyatt’s uncle Barry Windham is another legendary name belonging to the same lineage to make his mark in WCW and WWE. The Horseman recorded remarkable success winning a host of championships during his heyday. However, the veteran suffered a massive heart attack back in 2011, that almost saw him collapse.

But fortunately, the legend recovered with a rehab tenure and the utmost health care. Brother-in-law, Mike Rotunda, stated that he’s currently doing pretty well health-wise.

Speaking of the hopeful update about Wyatt, we need to see what time around he makes a reappearance in the mix.
