Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar have been at odds since the aftermath of Raw after WrestleMania 39. Every time Rhodes thinks he is through with Lesnar, The Beast Incarnate makes his return to humiliate the American Nightmare. On last week’s edition of Raw, Lesnar made his comeback, dismantling Rhodes in front of his mother, making it more personal than it ever was. And now, Rhodes’ wife, Brandi Rhodes, has taken to social media, claiming that Cody Rhodes will humiliate Brock Lesnar in Detroit. 

We should note that The Beast Incarnate was not present this week on Raw. However, WWE announced that he will make his presence felt next week during the go-home edition of Raw in Kennewick, Washington. 

Brandi Rhodes says Cody Rhodes is going to “embarrass” Brock Lesnar in Detroit

Cody Rhodes made his way to the ring on the latest edition of Raw to reveal what he would do to Brock Lesnar at The Biggest Party of the Summer, SummerSlam. Not only has Lesnar made his rivalry with Rhodes personal by breaking his arm, but he also crossed the line by putting Rhodes to shame in front of his mother. 

And so, while speaking to the audience, Rhodes vowed to embarrass the former Universal Champion at SummerSlam. Attesting to Cody’s statement, Brandi Rhodes took to Twitter to reiterate what’s in store for Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. She wrote, “Cody bout to embarrass Brock Lesnar in front MY family in the D!!! (By the way fam, come meet me at @wrestlecon Saturday!) All proceeds go to The Dusty Rhodes Foundation, to benefit underprivileged youth sports” .

Interestingly, Brandi Rhodes hails from Detriot, Michigan. It’s a sure bet that she would be seated front row at SummerSlam. This isn’t the first time that the former AEW star has been involved in her husband’s business, as she previously warned Rhea Ripley after Dirty Dom slapped Cody Rhodes. 

While “embarrassing” Brock Lesnar sounds inconceivable, Rhodes is indeed on a warpath. We will have to wait and see how Lesnar responds to Rhodes next week.

Nevertheless, Brandi Rhodes and her family are positive that The American Nightmare will finally finish his story with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Speaking of which, Brandi recently revealed that her mother was upset over Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania loss.

Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania 39 match meant a lot to him, his family, and his fans. The winner of the 2023 Royal Rumble set out to fulfill the American Dream by dethroning Roman Reigns. However, the end result did not meet Rhodes’ expectations. The result left its fans heartbroken at the end of the show. 

While speaking on a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, Brandi Rhodes relayed that her mother was pis*ed with the Cody Rhodes’ loss. She said, “Hey, we’re still ready to party. I had things I wanted to do and we got down to ‘em but, my mom however, very pissed. Everybody was telling me, ‘Your mom is taking it really hard,’ and I know my mom.”  

That said, the entire Rhodes family is counting on him to end his rivalry with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. It will be interesting to see if Rhodes does exactly what he said he would do.
